Chalet Hibou: Your refuge in the heart of the Alps
Located in the small village of Le Miroir, in the French Alps, Chalet Hibou is a private 18th-century alpine cottage that will make you feel at home. From the moment you arrive, everything breathes warmth. The lit fireplace, plush sofas, and a hot toddy welcome you to this exclusive mountain lodge as you begin what is sure to be a very cozy experience.
The Chalet Hibou is the ideal starting point for various snow and mountain activities, as it is within easy reach of five of the region's best ski resorts: Sainte-Foy, La Rosiere, Les Arcs, Tignes, and Val d'Isère.
This alpine cottage is located very close to the Espace Killy, named after the Olympic medalist Claude Killy. This area brings together the resorts of Tignes and Val d'Isère with a total of 300km of skiable slopes, some of which pass over the mythical Grande Motte glacier.
For the more experienced and daring, it is possible to enjoy a heli-skiing day as the area has the option of more than 40 off-piste descents, one of which ends right at the chalet's doorstep.

After a day of skiing and sports, you can relax in the outdoor hot tub and watch the sunset over the snow. If you still have energy left, take an evening hike with snowshoes through the forest to sip comforting cocktails around a bonfire, on the snow, and dine with a traditional fondue in an alpine hut lit by a fireplace and dozens of candles. It's sure to be worth the effort!

The typical cuisine of the Savoy region, which you would taste during your stay here under the wise management and talent of Chef Hannah, is composed of local and artisanal products with designation of origin of the area: from yogurts made on a nearby farm, cheeses, or sausages, to fresh bread, cookies, and jams for breakfast.
